The Clarence Social, 1 Clarence Parade, Cheltenham, GL50 3NY
We’re delighted to invite you to join us for the inaugural Chamwell Social charity evening. Enjoy a glamorous evening of wining, dining and live music. Choose from our delightful gastronomic 7 course tasting menu or simply champagne and canapés in the wine bar.
Throughout the evening there will be great live music including the outstanding young musician, Ashleigh Turley, a pupil of The Milestone School who has been blind from birth. Ashleigh is equally at home with the classical composers or improvising with a professional jazz band.
During the evening there will also be the opportunity to bid for some amazing, exclusive lots in our charity auction.
Proudly supporting the Chamwell Centre
One year since the launch of the Chamwell Centre Charity, set up to raise £3.7 million to build a state of the art facility for disabled children and young people in Gloucestershire, we have already raised £2.8 million in pledges and donations and work has begun on the outside works and children’s play area. Overwhelmingly this support has come from the local charities and businesses who have recognized the great need for this facility in Gloucestershire.
The Chamwell Centre is based at The Milestone School, one of the largest special schools in the country which has 300 pupils, all with severe and complex special needs. It will replace the schools aging hydrotherapy pool and provide much needed leisure, play and therapy facilities for children with all levels of disability. Outside school hours The Chamwell Centre will be available for use by those in need of its facilities, from the whole of Gloucestershire.
All proceeds from the Chamwell Social evening, including those from our fantastic charity auction to be held after dinner, will go to The Chamwell Centre
Newly opened, The Clarence Social, has already established itself as a popular venue in Cheltenham. It spreads across three floors creating an elegant environment perfect for wining, dining and socializing. You can choose from fine dining in the Mezzanine restaurant or socialize with champagne and canapés served on the ground floor and the atmospheric speak easy, Croft and Jones on the lower ground floor. The pay bar at the Clarence Social will be open throughout the evening with an opportunity to try their fantastic gin and tonic menu.
